Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was apparently injected with penicillin regardless of informing the doctor that he was allergic to it. Moreover, Nehru denied to further dig into the unexplained death. Atal Bihari Vajpayee also declared in 2004 that Nehru was behind Mukherjee’s death, quoting it as a “Nehru conspiracy”.
